Friday, July 10, 2015 - The ITF data center repairs have been completed and the data center has returned to normal operation without incident.
Monday, June 15, 2015 - The ITF data center now has a temporary chiller in place for backup purposes but it does require manual failover in the event of an issue. Work continues to improve the status of the facility but at this point the probability of a cooling failure has decreased substantially.
Friday, June 12, 2015 - The ITF data center facility is currently running in degraded mode without backup cooling infrastructure available. Should a primary cooling failure occur while repairs are underway we would be forced to shutdown the Neon system and all research storage systems located at ITF. The Helium system and storage located in the LC data center would not be affected.
Data center staff are working as quickly as possible to repair the backup systems and have indicated they are targeting that these repairs will be complete in the next 24-48 hours.
