The machine that is hosting licenses for Gurobi, Harris geospatial, and the Intel compilers will be undergoing maintenance on Friday December 13, 2019 at 10am. It is hopeful that any disruption would be minimal but could be as much as 30 minutes.
The Neon HPC system is currently having issues. We are working to resolve it.
UPDATE: 11:46AM Neon NFS Scratch has been restored to service. We are still investigating the cause of the outage and monitoring the situation, but operations should continue as normal for users of Neon.
On January 2, 2018 we will be setting the default process mapping for the system OpenMPI installations on Argon to "map by socket". This is being done to improve the process distribution of jobs in the absence of any specific process mapping given at job submission time.
