SIGHPC is asking your assistance to help publicize two opportunities for student (undergraduate or early career graduate student) travel grants to attend the SC13 Conference in Denver. Each opportunity supports up to 3 grants.
The next generation collaborative HPC cluster, "Neon", is now open for the purchase of compute nodes. The system will be purchased from Atipa Technologies (http://www.atipa.com/) and the following compute node types are available:
The queue allocations for Helium have been restored. The IIHR and sandbox queues are available again and the UI queue is back to its normal slot count.
Thanks to everyone for their cooperation and patience in the need to quickly allocate resources for flood modeling.
Capacity on the Helium cluster is decreased at this time to allow increased flood modeling calculations to occur.
