ITS – Research Services is holding a two hour introductory training session on using the Helium and Neon Clusters. This session is intended for anyone who will be running jobs on these systems but most material will be at an introductory level. During this training session we will discuss:
- How to make the most effective use of HPC resources
- Connecting to the clusters
- Launching HPC jobs
- Getting your data to and from HPC resources
- Getting access to the software you need
This training session will be taught be Ben Rogers, Director of Research Services, and will provide both lecture-based and hands-on training. The session will take place January 17th from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm and will be located in the IT Training Room in the UCC Conference Center on the second floor of the Old Capital Mall.

Please note: In order to complete the in class activities, you will need a Helium account.
