The sixth annaul Iowa High Performance Summer School (IHPC) is scheduled to be from June 1, 2015 to June 3, 2015 at the University of Iowa. Organized by Prof Greg Howes, this summer school covers various topics of HPC algorithms, message parsing interface (MPI), OpenMC and multi-threading, GPU Computing, CUDA programming, to name a few.
- Applicants must be enrolled as a graduate student at the University of Iowa in any field of study, with preference given to those planning to employ high performance computing as an element of their graduate research. Undergraduates or other applicants (postdocs, research staff, faculty, etc.) will be considered if space permits.
- Competency in scientific computer programming in a version of either Fortran or C is a prerequisite for this school, but familiarity with parallel programming is not required.
